Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre Members at the 2022 Careers & Employment Expo

9 May 2022

The Careers & Employment Expo was recently held at the Adelaide Showground, and was the largest ever presented with over 130 educators and employers. The A3C is proud to have sponsored one of these booths, which enabled members to inspire attendees into a career in cybersecurity.

Our members volunteered to operate our booth over the two days, representing their organisations as well as the A3C. This was a great opportunity to hear from students, graduates and jobseekers and share insight into a career in the cyber industry.

Selim Kang, Cyber Security Analyst from OpSys Australia, shared with us just some of the people that stood out to her; from a seasoned professional who is looking for a career change after 20 years in sales, to a high school student in Year 10 who is interested in malware analysis, our members definitely met a range of people and heard their unique stories.

Thank you again to all our members who participated in this event: BDO, Palo Alto Networks, Comunet, OpSys Australia, Fortinet, CyberCX and KPMG.
